# Quickstart

# Quick Start

New to Token-Poly? Follow this five-minute flow to place your first prediction on Solana devnet.

## 1. Install a Wallet

* **Desktop:** Phantom (Chrome, Brave) or Solflare extension
* **Mobile:** Phantom iOS/Android or Solflare Mobile
* Back up your seed phrase before continuing

## 2. Switch to Devnet

* Phantom → Settings → Developer Settings → Change Network → **Devnet**
* Solflare → Network badge (top right) → **Devnet** → Reload the dApp tab

## 3. Fund with Test SOL

* [https://faucet.solana.com](https://faucet.solana.com) (official Solana faucet)
* [https://solfaucet.com](https://solfaucet.com) (choose **Devnet**)
* [https://faucet.quicknode.com/solana/solana-devnet](https://faucet.quicknode.com/solana/solana-devnet)
* After switching networks in Solflare, request SOL from any of the faucets above

## 4. Connect to Token-Poly

* Open the Token-Poly app
* Click **Connect Wallet** and approve the connection request
* Confirm the banner shows **Devnet**

## 5. Join a Market

* Filter the list to **Active** predictions
* Pick a market whose story you understand
* Choose YES or NO, enter stake (≥ 0.01 SOL), review the 1% platform + 2% creator fee, and approve
* Remember: your vote is locked until the market resolves; markets do not cancel once live

## 6. Track & Claim

* Monitor status from **My Predictions**
* When the outcome matches your side, hit **Claim** to receive winnings instantly in SOL
* Creators see a separate **Claim Creator Fees** button once the market resolves
